SSMN Celebrate, God Bless America, July 4th:
On July 3rd, Sr. Joan’s brother entertained the Sisters with an Independence Day Party honoring
the countries from which our ancestors came to the U.S. After a hot dog supper, we played a few games of bingo, sang some patriotic songs, and then our traditional closing march accompanied by Sr. Miriam playing
“When the Saints Go Marching In” on the accordion. Sr. Yolanda’s mother is here for the month of July and participated with glee.
